Michigan electric outages from strong storm approach 400,00 late Monday

 A powerful storm on Monday knocked off power to over 400,000 customers for Michigan's two largest utility providers, Consumers Energy and DTE Energy.According to DTE Energy, some areas experienced wind gusts of up to 70 mph. DTE Energy reported 243,000 customers without power at 11 p.m. on Monday, August 29.
